STATA USER GROUP MEETING

SWISS STATA USER GROUP MEETING:
SAVE THE DATE!

Thursday November 17th, 2016

Do you want to gain new perspectives on how to use Stata? Do you have insights that would enlighten colleagues in your field? Or you just want to meet fellow users and Stata Corp. developers?

Then join us in Bern for the first Swiss Stata Users Group meeting! The Institute of Social and Preventive Medicine, University of Bern, and Ritme, official partner of Stata for softwares and solutions in Switzerland, are glad to welcome you to this first Swiss edition. The event will take place on Thursday November 17th, 2016. It will be held in the premises of our academic partner at Haus der Universität (University of Bern, Schlösslistrasse 5, 3008 Bern).

CALL FOR PRESENTATIONS

Contributions are welcome on any aspect of the use of Stata, including focused empirical and theoretical analyses. The objective of this conference is to discuss the use of Stata across fields and backgrounds. A particular—but not exclusive—focus of this meeting will be on implementing reproducible research methods using Stata. The participation of early career scholars and postgraduate researchers is positively encouraged, nevertheless users of any affiliation and background are much welcome: economics, econometrics, finance, business, biostatistics, epidemiology, medicine and public health, behavioral sciences, social sciences etc. A presentation by a top-notch scholar representative of Stata Corp. will cover the implementation of new methods in Stata.

Submissions should include name and affiliation of the author, a title, and an informative abstract. The abstract should be no more than 200 words, and the presentations should be 20 minutes or shorter.
